Common questions
How often should gutters be cleaned in North Georgia?
At least twice a year, and more often on properties with heavy tree cover. Fall leaf drop and spring pollen and seed litter are the two periods that clog systems fastest.
Are gutter guards worth it?
They reduce cleaning frequency but do not eliminate maintenance. On heavily wooded lots they are usually a good investment; we will tell you honestly whether your property would benefit.
Why is water getting behind my gutters?
Usually a missing or failed drip edge and gutter apron, undersized gutters for the roof area, improper pitch, or clogs that force water back under the roof edge — all of which can rot fascia and decking.
